Services

The Ogden-Weber Community Action Partnership, Inc. Provides a wide variety of services to the local community. The three main programs that OWCAP provides is Head Start Services, Community Service Block Grant, and Marshall White Center. Most every other service that OWCAP proviedes are contained within those three categories. Many, but not all of the services are listed below. 

Head Start Services

Head Start is a federal program that provides children ages birth to 5 of low-income families a learning environment that supports growth in:

  • Language and literacy

  • Cognition and general knowledge

  • Physical development and health

  • Social and emotional development

  • Approaches to learning

Community Service Block Grant
CSBG provides to low-income individuals and families in Weber County: 
  • Employment Assistance

  • Emergency Food Assistance

  • Financial Literacy & Asset Management

  • Vita (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance)

  • Adult GED Scholarships

  • On Site WSD Adult Education Classes

  • On Site WSD ESL Classes

  • Low-income housing

Marshall White Center
MWC provides to the community of Ogden affordable programs and activities:
